I was hired as the graphic design intern for by Perry Ellis International's licensed Nike Swim office located in Portland, OR. I gained experience designing seasonal graphics, working with nested grade patterns, apparel design, researching current market trends, and considering production costs. My designs were featured in the Spring/Summer 2021 Nike Swim line and I conceptualized a unique treatment of the iconic “JUST DO IT” mark by highlighting the “US” within the phrase. This was an original concept inspired by Olympic and Americana themes.
